Your shoes may look fantastic, but:
Rule One – If they’re so uncomfortable they’re making you walk funny, they’re not a good pair of shoes. We’re not statues, we have to move in the things we wear, and they still need to look good, even when walking down the street.
Rule Two – If they’re too big and they’re falling off the back of your heel when you walk, they’re not a good pair of shoes. Either buy the right size in the first place (and yes, that may mean you have to give up the pair that looks soooo good but doesn’t quite fit), or invest in some innersoles.
Rule Three – If your toes hang out the front of your sandals or peep-toe shoes, they’re not a good pair of shoes. I’ve spoken about the claw before. Don’t let it happen to you.
Rule Four – If your backless shoes are eating the cuffs of your pants, they’re not a good pair of shoes. Wear them with a skirt instead.
And unlike many fashion rules, these ones should not be broken.

Very helpful post! I am always caught between loving the look and knowing that the shoe will probably mess up my feet, knees and back.
