Tailored vests will be a great look for winter in Australia this year and I saw a great one on my way to work. From the front it looked fairly standard, cut in over the shoulders, normal collar, pinched at the waist, but from the back it was really effective. From over the shoulders it cut in dramatically creating a trapezoid that finished at the waist; it was probably about 10cm wide at that point. Below that it was a separate piece of material that wrapped around the back, rather like a wide belt.
It was a great vest, and it broke up the line of her shirt nicely. Now I need to find (or make) one.
