The truth about Britney at the VMAs

The truth about Britney at the VMAs
Thanks to the Manalo for pointing me this way.

Spencer Guam has a fascinating analysis of Britney’s performance, explaining why her dancing seems so bad. Totally worth while checking it out!

I heard that too... and watching her performance, I thought she was stepping gingerly (with good cause, if the heel was broken).

So if that's the case, why blame it on other factors like Sarah Silverman's jokes, or that Ken Paves was a bad hairdresser, or the multitude of other excuses?

A broken heel seems quite easy and more probable as the cause of her lack of energy.

Well I didn't see it, so I didn't hear the comments about the hair or the jokes, but it seems fairly clear that the shoe was causing it. Maybe she should have stopped, then people wouldn't have just thought she was wasted?

Hmm I've walked around all day with a totally snapped off heel...and while you couldn't blame her for not having a perfect performance - she could've done a heck of a lot better!
Also...how do they explain that out of time miming and the rest?!?!

Out of time miming you could put down to being distracted by the heel being broken and having to dance, especially if she hadn't practiced enough. I'm not saying she was fabulous (which she wasn't) but that she was made worse by circumstances.

Karina, hope they weren't your favourite pair of shoes ...

hi darl...you are the only person talking about this ! wonder which brand it was, although I'm sure they aren't going to fess up. cat x

Cat, the brand would be interesting to know (in order to avoid). I'm guessing dancers shoes would have been the real way to go.
