Apparently Fashions on the Field will be going ahead in New South Wales despite the horses not running. This is because the winners of Fashions on the Field in each state go on to compete at the Melbourne Cup in Victoria in November.
Milliners all over the country are breathing a loud and emphatic sigh of relief.
