I’m up next on the 1st of October and my theme is … wait for it … Black! Yep I’ve been so inspired by Meg and her colour carnival that I’m going completely the other way.
Tell me how you wear black; do you love black shoes, black bags, black jewellery? Do you wear colour with your black as a feature? Do you absolutely loath black and would only wear it to a funeral (and even then you’d prefer navy)?
Get your inner Goth (or anti-Goth) going and submit to the next edition of the carnival!

But my school uniform is to wear any outfit in either black or blue, the colour itself depresses me..reminds me about studying...
I loved the layer trend w/ black.. I'd layer tight black tops under brightly-coloured dresses...

I LOVE black, I tend to mix it up with color more now than I used to. I've kind of grown up past the gothy stage. *sigh* Sadly...that whole professional, post-college thing. I have some big, funky necklaces I like to wear with plain black tops. One is long and red and another one I found recently at a resale shop is mostly black shell pieces but in the middle has a bunch of different sizes and cuts of stone beads like turquoise.
One can never have enough plain black tees, tanks, etc. They are so easy to change the look of with different accesories.
I just found your site and want to say I love it! It's great to find another geek girl who like fashion and sci-fi. :)
