Vent length, OK now I’m just getting picky

Most men’s jackets, and some women’s, have one or two vents in the back to allow some movement around your butt. This is a good thing and is an important feature of a good jacket.

However, I did notice on one guy the vent finished a little too high up his back (or possibly his pants finished too low) and I could see a small triangle of the white fabric of his shirt neatly framed in between the jacket and the pants.

Now I know this is pretty particular, but it’s all about the details. This is a fairly simple thing to fix; have your tailor sew the vent up a bit, or failing that, pull your pants up. It just looks messy.

That is 1 reason why all men need a wife/girlfriend/significant other... to stop mistakes like this =)

I agree too (but admittedly I did think it was a pretty minor point).
