Make sure the shoe fits

If you want to wear a cropped suede jacket with twenty centimetre fringes hanging from your arms, I can’t stop you (actually it didn’t look that bad). I understand the impulse to wear your pants tucked into your long brown boots, jodhpur style; after all, this is a big trend in Australia at the moment.

All I ask is that you make sure your boots actually do up over your calves. Ten centimetres of zipper gaping around your leg because it doesn’t fit is not a good look.
