Welcome to the Fabulous! Festival

I lurve shoes, just lurve them, so when I was offered the chance to host the Fabulous! Festival, I knew I’d want a shoe theme. So with much ado and in no particular order I present you with wonderful shoes.

Advice

• Sara, the Bargain Queen, has great advice for how to get your feet into discount designer shoes, as well as some of the bargains she’s picked up.
• Chrissie and Kimberly from Fashion on a Shoe String have some excellent advice about killer heels, what to do and how to wear them.
• Gala Darling from iCiNG has excellent advice on how to buy a good pair of shoes as well as her tips on adding insoles for extra comfort and arch support. I do the same thing with my shoes.
• Rebecca from The Space Between my Peers has her best buys for Birkenstocks; and not your grannies version either.
• Gauri from That Dress is Divine has some practical advice about how to discover which shoe is right for you.
• Chelich from Trendy Affordable Fashion has her recommendations for stylish casual shoes for guys, and they’re a rather nice selection too. I wonder if I can get P into some.
• And my advice is not wear backless shoes with long pants!

Personal Style

• Dexie from Bargain Styling shows us her favourite spring and summer shoes, all picked up for a song. I especially love her brown formal wedges.
• Nadine with her fabulous pointy purple shoes from her blog Thrifty Spend, (try say that three times fast).
