I went shopping for more of my list over the weekend and I had such fun!Found my red boots! Yay. From the princely sum of AU$34.95; from K-Mart would you believe? They’re even a nice dark red, rather than the almost orange colour I’ve seen around. I’ve seen women wearing red boots a few times now, so it must be a trend.
I saw long gloves in K-Mart as well, but they were just a little too trashy (all 80s and gathered) so I didn’t get them.
I also found a lovely cream jacket. Not what I was originally looking for but it looks great and suits me well. It is a Jag single breasted cream trench, tortoise shell buttons, fitted at the waist, knee length, with just a little bit of flow in the skirt and a box pleated vent at the back. Very nice.I know I look great my new jacket looks because I got a smile from Morris Iemma, the Premier of New South Wales, as I passed him on the street. Ahh a brush with fame, well almost. I’ll tell you about the other times I’ve been tarred with that brush in another post.

It was odd. He is actually my local member as well as being the head of the state government, so presumably I could have said hello if I wanted.
Great boots Icy! I think the colour is more versatile than the bright red boots out there at the moment and they're definitely more likely to work next year again too!
At $35 I hope they last that long ^_^
