I don't like wearing stockings much, they just feel weird, and the little "sockettes" that you can wear instead are great; they stop your feet rubbing, but you can't see them under your shoes. At least, you shouldn't be able to see them under your shoes, because they just look wrong when you can. They are meant to be hidden!! Don't wear them if you can see them, it's not a good look!!
This leads to my other point... I've bought dozens of pairs in different brands; why are none of them made so they do say hidden? How hard can it be? I always end up chucking them out because they just don't work. Sockettes fall into that category of invention of great idea, poor execution.
